Chivu: Second Roma Goal Was A Foul
Roma triumphed 2-1 in an exhilarating game at the Stadio Olimpico, as they prevented Inter from completing the double.
"It was a wonderful final that could have ended in a draw," said Chivu, whose side almost managed to battle back from two goals down.
"Roma suffered a lot from our pressing and they probably wouldn't have had the strength to react if Burdisso's effort had gone in instead of hitting the post.
"For their second goal [by Perrotta] there was a foul on Cesar that the referee didn't see, but there's no use starting useless disputes and its right to pay our compliments to Roma.”
Chivu also concurred with team-mate Dejan Stankovic, who said that the Scudetto, which Inter clinched last Sunday, was the club’s main goal for the season.
"We won the Scudetto and that was our main objective,” the Romanian captain stated. “我们赢得了联赛冠军，这是我们的主要目标”罗马尼亚队长说道。
