Ibra to sit out Empoli tie

Juventus boss Fabio Capello is being tipped to rest Zlatan Ibrahimovic for
Sunday’s trip to Empoli.
Although the Swede is in great form, following his two goals on
international duty in the past week, there are concerns over his health.
The former Ajax player complained of severe stomach pains, which
subsequently hampered his breathing, after Sweden’s win over Hungary in
midweek.
Ibrahimovic insisted that he was fine following his superb injury time
strike, but Capello may opt to rest him anyway.
The tactician is expected to start the striking sensation on the bench
despite his importance to the side.
Given that Alessandro Del Piero is currently injured, Capello will probably
select David Trezeguet and Adrian Mutu in attack.
The Romanian is in good form himself after he returned to training this
week following his two goals for his national side.
Ibrahimovic should be recalled to the starting line-up for Wednesday’s
Champions League tie at Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, Inter boss Roberto Mancini is believed to be thinking of resting
Adriano for their trip to Palermo on Saturday evening.
