Roma players have turned against their own fans and they have blamed them for the poor results over the course of the season.
Italian news agency Dire claims there was a meeting between some fans and players on Tuesday after a number of supporters interrupted the training session. The report suggests Francesco Totti, Daniele De Rossi, Luciano Spalletti, Julio Baptista, Christian Panucci and Bruno Conti had a discussion regarding all the recent problems.
Voices surrounding Trigoria imply that the players have pointed the finger of blame towards the fans, who have consistently invaded the training ground over the course of the season. Tuesday's disruption was not the first time Roma players have had to deal with angry fans.
The players expressed their disappointment, believing the distraction and pressure from supporters have contributed towards their downturn.
Although the fans left Trigoria calmly, there is still a sense of tension between the players and the Curva Sud.
