      罗马主力防守球星萨穆埃尔表示如果他离开了罗马，他将不会再加入其他任何一支意甲球队。“离开罗马的这种念头让我受到伤害，如果我真的不得不离开这里的话，我会要求他们不要把我卖给意甲中其他的球队。”

Roma wants player to forget about Chelsea.

Roma have been in talks with Walter Samuel's agent about the players future, aware that there has been heavy interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea, they are trying to spell out how important, they think the Argentine international is to Roma's future.

Despite their financial situation they are becoming increasingly determined to hang on to Samuel, Franco Baldini (Roma chief) had talks with Samuel's agent (Raul Oliveiros) and pleaded with him not to consider serious negotiations with either Chelsea or Real Madrid.

Samuel's contract with Roma does not actually run out until 2008 and the player himself has always stated that he would like to remain in Rome, so this could be welcome news for everyone apart from Real and Chelsea fans and prehaps the clubs bankers.

The defender has been rumoured to be on his way out of the Giallorossi and he’s keen on a Premiership switch.

Samuel is unhappy with the uncertain future surrounding the Olimpico outfit and it is understood that he has asked to leave.

The stopper has allegedly held talks, along with his agents, with sporting director Franco Baldini.

Reports suggest that the Stamford Bridge outfit are ready to offer him a contract worth £2.8m a season.

Samuel is tied to the capital side until 2008 but Roma could sacrifice the Argentine if a bid of around £15m is tabled.

Inter, Milan and Juventus have also been associated with the former Boca Juniors ace but he recently stated that he would only leave Roma for a foreign side.

Real Madrid have also been linked with the player in the past but they are unlikely to match the proposed bid from the London club.

Samuel is under contract at Stadio Olimpico until 2008 but held a meeting with the club's sporting director Franco Baldini on Thursday to discuss his future.
The 26-year-old wanted clarification on whether he is in Roma's plans for next season due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the Italian side's financial situation.
Roma may be prepared to cash in on the stopper in the summer and Samuel's agent, and former Giallorossi striker Abel Balbo, feels Chelsea are the right move for his client.
Samuel has repeatedly stated he would not join another Serie A club with Balbo feeling the defender may not be presented with another opportunity to move to Stamford Bridge.
Balbo said: "Samuel has stressed his attachment to Roma and also made clear that he would never move to another Italian club.
"Offers like the one from Chelsea are few and far between and it would be good to take up the opportunity."

Roma defender Walter Samuel could be a Real Madrid player by Monday according to speculation.Reports in Spain insist that the Argentine international has agreed a deal with the European giants.

The stopper was a known target for Chelsea but he seems to have snubbed the Premiership outfit despite their multi-million pound offer.

Roma are expected to sell the defender and they could pick up around £15m for the individual.

At the moment Real are offering 15 million euros, and Chelsea have put 25 million on the table, but the player's wish is to join the Spanish giants. It is even reported that he is willing to move to Real and earn less than he would do at Chelsea.
